Very good attendance but still can see why Quinn gets narked

Still stand by my point about pricing for the 16 to 20 year olds, they are the future, if we can't hook them young we are losing the next generation of SAFC supporters.
In the bad old days even 3rd Div, when there was a hardcore of us supporters I don't ever remember the prices being a problem home and away, out every night and weekend both sessions on the beer. Still had spare money after all that.

I assume the 5385 empty seats at your place are caused by your overweight supporters taking up more than one seat. <ok>

I assume 97775 empty seats means you have nearly twice as many overweight's ..and one of your better years

should be 9775 empty seats just seems like 97775 on the tv

Look at it this way.

51000 capacity. Only one team in the City with almost almost a million in the metropolitan area and they can't fill it.

Almost half a million more people yet only 8000 more at the games.

And here you are little old Sunderland a metropolitan area of only half the size and you only get 8000 short of your big city neighbour..

I reckon we're doing OK don't you.

I think Quinn should be grateful we are getting that, for the amount of crap we have had to put with since the Premier league was formed

You might try to remember a lot of your fans bought those cheap 3 year season tickets, had it not been for those i think the figures might be different and obviously you haven't got any ticket at all?

You're just not very good at this are you?

Good enough to give you the equivalent of a 5-1 spanking , you must be getting used to it. <ok>

Ah so you're not actually our local Troll, but actually play football for Newcastle?
Wow, which player are you?
I can't work it out from that silly user name of yours.

I really thought your patter couldn't get any worse but I was wrong. <ok>

Trollus horribilus failus.

Why do these NEWARKS have to use the 5-1 [NEWCARSTLE HUMAN RIGHTS ACT 2010] when the arguement thay are persuing is generally weak, uninformed, unbeleiveable pish. no debate from these clowns, run out of good debateable facts, break glass pull out good old face saving 5-1. That should do it. as I said
NEWARKS.

It's a shame these muppets don't have any collective imagination then we will get:
a) some good worth while banter
b) threads that will have the banter which will leave other threads that would be good to discuss alone

Sad really

On the OP's original point: When I first had a season ticket they had a special price for Students. Once I graduated I then used the under 22 discount. If it had not been for those discounts I would not have bought a season card and I would have just picked my games. A drastic reduction for under 22's is needed. The big problem with it is I know a lot of older people were getting younger mates to buy these season cards for them. You only got your ID check when you bought the ticket and not every match at the turnstile. The easy solution to this is have a turnsite which is 16 - 22's only and have someone checking ID's on the older looking people going through. Maybe offer those tickets in one part of the ground and have 2 x turnstiles one for 16 - 22's and one for regular tickets. This would mean the 16 - 22's and regular adults could still sit together.
