Are we still cut off from the outside, or is it just that we're such an unappealing bunch that no-one wants to associate with us?
No idea, lost track of what's going off with the site a while ago

The spurs board has some that makes even RHC look like a whippersnapper . In fact some are so old they remember watching the double winning team

If you are 24 to 30 you are most definitely a youngsterWhat constitutes young and old on here nowadays? We used to have a few 18-24 but since we've not had any new users for a while I'm guessing they're still the youngsters despite being 24-30 now![]()

Merson Says: Premier League win is a bigger achievement than a Champions League win
Merson: Manchester City cannot possibly have a better season than Liverpool

I saw the video, merson showed himself up talking absolute **** tbh. Same as ever really. Can't help but think him saying this is more to do with Arsenal having won the PL but not the CL

Regardless of his motive, I agree with him. I know some disagree, but the PL is the bigger of the two in my book. Can't help but think him saying this is more to do with Arsenal having won the PL but not the CL

Had this discussion last year I think. For me it’s the CL all the way - always has beenAgreed.

I have for years stated I don’t think it should be open to 2nd and below - it should be the pinnacle imho
For me the PL is the most consistent club wins (not the best)
CL should be the reward that comes afterwards - just an opinion though![]()
Sorry I didn’t mean best team wins CL not sure I said that just meant the CL should be the reward after you have won your domestic league imhoThe best team doesn't always win the CL; Porto in 2004, us in 2005...
Most most consistent suggests it's a good team; able to cover each over when players inevitably have an off day. Man Utd won the title a couple of times when they didn't have the best players but were the best team. Leicester are a good example too; they were clearly the best team but didn't have the best players.
As Sir Bill Shanks said, the league is the bread & butter and the trophy we most want.
Leicester won the Prem. by ten points Bumps...............a very comfortable margin. They were the best team that season... [HASHTAG]#endof[/HASHTAG]Sorry I didn’t mean best team wins CL not sure I said that just meant the CL should be the reward after you have won your domestic league imho
However I do see winning the CL as a greater honour than winning the domestic title
I understand the arguments for and against all,
Some say it’s easier to win the CL
I don’t agree
You have to face different styles of play conquer the away games and away goals rule and it runs through the season
I think there is usually more wiggle room in winning the domestic title
Generally once into knockout phases in CL one poor night and BOOM your gone
Plus I love that it is the Final game of the season
I want to be there again
I don’t agree Leicester were BEST team - I know I am in the minority but I think there is a massive difference between best and most consistent where as others believe the two are the same - IF we win the title I am certain this discussion will raise its head once again![]()

It's not about which is the most prestigious or most glamorous title - it's about how you measure the quality and consistency of your team over the season. The CL has some of the best teams in Europe in it, but there's only a handful of them at the same level as the top of the Prem, so any good team can win it with a bit of luck and determination, because you don't have to win that many games.Had this discussion last year I think.
