    Hi all.
Had a family day skiing, yesterday. The day was sunny and warm - perfect Spring skiing.

Mast NZ. who is 4 next month, had his first day on skis and kept demanding to go on harder runs. He had a private lesson for an hour and his instructor said that, normally, young chilren get tired by the end of the lesson. Not my one. He kept demanding more. Later, I went down an intermedate slope with Mast NZ skiing between my skis. He kept saying. "Faster."

2 minutes after starting the drive home he was asleep.

Norway, I'd rather he were a left arm spin bowler for NZ or England, don't care which, because he would be more likely to have a long, injury free career. It is also cheaper for the parents. We must wean him off horse riding, which he also loves.

Nothing wrong with knitting, H. His hand/eye co-ordination is so good he'd do that well, too. I've always been the thick and unco-ordinated one in my family, and my children are continuing the tradition.!

England slaughter the windies by 10 wickets the young lad Hales looks promising opening with Kieswetter and outscoring him! Swanns captaincy was very shrewd, and Ravi Bopara as a bowler ended up with 4-10!! amazing!

Evening all :) For all you facebook users, is there a way to ensure my "comments and likes" don't appear in my friends new ticker box. If there isn't, I'm seriously considering leaving facebook and never using it again!

I'm looking forward to being able to watch the game tomorrow on tv, I just need to make sure I get through my extremely long "to-do" list first!

H-B, although I do have a facebook page I hardly ever use it. After your comment above had a look and my daughters have both posted the same thing:

Please do me a favour and move your mouse over my name here, wait for the box to load and then move your mouse over the "Subscribe" link. Then uncheck the "Comments and Likes". I would really rather that my comments on friends and families posts not be made public, thank You! Then re-post this if you don't want your every single move posted on the right side in the "Ticker Box" for everyone to see!

    Does that help?

I've seen that but the problem is you rely on other people to "unsubscribe" from you. I want to be the one to control what is visible! And although facebook say they have simplified privacy settings, I still get confused. People are saying it's all information that's open to view anyway on your profile but I still don't like it. I think I have made it as private as I possibly can, other than making myself unsearchable which I will be doing in the very near future. I think a "friend" culling is in order as well!

Take your point H-B. I am useless with it, so really cannot be bothered if I use it or not. There do seem to be lots of people unhappy with the way that it is going. :(

    Sleep well H-B. <ok>

I have had a very heavy night with friends. What started out as pop round for an apero, turned into a mammoth wine tasting session. Several different bottles of Bordeaux from a quite expensive Chateau bottled wine, down to the cheap supermarket one that retails at just over £1 were downed by three of us, Mme stuck to her own bottle of Rose from Nimes, and the general opinion was that the cheapest was as good as the most expensive.

This was of course carried out in the name of consumer research. ;)

I have been editing my work files tonight. My new mail is not as fast to download as Yahoo was but when you jave emails with over 40 attabhed files on each one it takes time. So much rubbish as well, I had a good cleaning up.

Frú Ak watched the film again. I hear the Ameríkans are to make their own version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Why?

i've made everything private, and yes, i'm unsearchable, but with this now, i don't think i'm very private anymore...not good news! I'm not happy about it at all since i had a bit of a stalker problem a few months ago and really don't want to go through that again!
