reading the earlier posts... all you tough guy Leeds fans wimping about a few smoggies at ayrsome park. Get a grip. I watched loads of Leeds boro games in the boro end, never got any jip. OK it got a bit hairy when i celebrated a leeds goal once... but i was rescued by the linesman's flag.

But then I was from Redcar at the time, no one from the 'boro would mess with anyone from Redcar. Certainly not mess with the Redcar girls, they were proper hard cases... got my head split open by a handbag with a brick in it during a mass bar room brawl once. Ah happy days.

Not much trouble now though, they don't have any fans and the few that turn up are too busy on social media to chase someone down the street.

Surprised last night at how many of their fans have deserted them. Ground two thirds empty and hopeless atmosphere apart from
    Our fans

yeh, I was there last year and it was a full house. I guess they’ll turn up to watch hoof ball under Pulis if they have a sniff of promotion but aren’t prepared to watch woodgate try and get them playing football, if they’re not winning.

that’s football fans all over to differing degrees

They actually played some ok stuff in patches yesterday. There was nothing in the game for large periods. We were missing kp but they had first choice c/b pairing out.

The sides below them are playing well and picking up points though - looks ominous.

I could see Pablo was having an off day but I’ve just seen his stats this morning, he gave the ball away 23 times yesterday.

Hull are falling like a rock after losing their 2 best players, let's hope we can help them to league 1 on Sat

Just been on the Hull board, they seem to think a new manager is imminent, I hope it’s not before Saturday. Was reading their Barnsley match report, the team that took the field had nobody who’d scored more than two goals this season. Wilks wasn’t playing as he is on loan from Barnsley

My delayed thoughts on yesterday's game if anyone is interested.

Thought Boro started brightly and had lots of energy. We couldn't string any passes together due to this high energy press. We managed to keep them at bay for the first 20mins and should have taken the lead through Bamfords weak header.

Game changed at 25 minutes. Boro couldn't sustain the press anymore and we got well on top until half time. Could have easily scored 3 or 4 goals. Deservedly in front at HT.

2nd half and a rested Boro upped the energy levels again. We couldn't keep the ball and it was us this time that looked to be tiring which suprised me. Boro threw on a couple of big subs further forward and we couldn't really get out of our half for any length of time.

We stayed solid, restricted chances and managed to hold on to the 1-0.

As I keep saying, winning and keeping clean sheets are a habit and we have now conceded only 1 goal in 4 matches and are on a nice little run. That's the kind of result you look back at and think it's a promotion winning performance. Unfortunately Fulham had the same kind of win.

5 points clear, superior goal difference and alot of the top teams still to play each other. The one worry for me with our high tempo game is the week of the Fulham game. They play on Friday night and we play on Sunday before the big game the following Wednesday. They get 2 days more rest and preparation than we do. That scares me a bit!

Yes it's from La Coruna in Spain...great brewery over a century old.

Threw a red herring out with the Argentina thing to see who would pick up on it...forgot we have our own resident spanish expert <cheers>

Anyway had 96 bottles delivered yesterday as you can't buy it off the shelves around Leeds.

Don't worry WJ you can apparently sample it in Buenos Aries as well :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

Not a great performance, nevertheless another fine victory. Even though we didn't really get out of second gear we were the better side by a country mile!

    Positives

Three more points as we head to our destiny.
    Three consecutive victories.
    Three consecutive clean sheets.
10 points out of the last four games.
Still 5 points clear of Fulham & 6 clear of Forest, our goal difference is worth a extra point.
On 65 points with eleven games to play as we are closing in on the 85 points required imo!
Klich's wonderful strike, a dominant display from Mateusz.
3 goals in 2 games for Klich v Boro
Dallas excelling again, showing he is one of the best wing-backs in the championship.
Pablo's strike against the post & thunderous effort bringing a good save out of Pears.
Harrison giving Howson a torrid time.
Berardi fitted in like a glove alongside the solid Cooper.
Berardi has kept 10 clean sheets in 16 Championship appearances this season.
    Double over Boro'.
First win at the Riverside since 2015.

    Negatives

Our passing was atrocious particularly in the first half-hour.
A couple of good penalty shouts denied I felt.

Good summary of the game. Off topic, but do you have memories of going to Boros old ground and Ulls Boothferry park grounds?
