I see watching Quest that Fulham robbed Swansea thanks To that tw@t Tim Robinson.

Really gutted for that classy gentleman Steve Cooper though, shame.

We won against a team over the decades who have been horrible to play against and we may have drawn or lost before. We played well tonight and got three points. Onwards we go.. <party>

think we’ve played a lot better and lost... that’s football. Had a bit of the run of the green last few games, which we were well overdue

We really missed Phillips and hopefully everyone appreciates what he brings to the team. We struggled to find our usual cohesion playing out from the back and it made everyone a bit jittery resulting in too many misplaced passes.

As Ristac pointed out Ben Whites movement when we were in possession was sadly lacking, however he made up for it with good challenges and used his pace to get back in when needed.

Not having a go at young Ben as he's been brilliant for us but we need Kalvin as he just makes everything work in Bielsa's system.

Think we got away with one tonight as overall we were not at our best.

Fair assessment

not often the opponent has more shots than us, but we’re the ones who worked the keeper.

we had the better chances and probably deserved the win but football wise not at our best.

we’re not playing better than during our ‘bad run’ just the keeper’s stopped making howlers and we’ve had a few breaks.

Will give it a try. Fly down to BA on the 28th. Currently enjoying various Chilean beers here in Santiago. Mrs WJ will not be pleased when I get back to the apartment. If I can find it ..... <yikes>
You may not be happy with her mate, there may be a big Chilean hanging out of her when you get back to the apartment:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Bielsa is considered as one of the best coaches in the world, a pioneer. But it's becoming pretty oblivious he owes it all to George Graham.

One nil to the mighty Leeds.
One nil to the mighty Leeds
One nil to the mighty Leeds
One nil to the mighty Leedssssssss
And continue

Was down here in Santiago at the end of last year. Got fantastic feedback about Bielsa. it did cross my mind that the contributors might be biased, but have since met several people that love him. Not one detractor so far. The man is a God here.

Evening everyone. We ground it out today which is what you have to do.
This time last year, after 35 games, we had 67 points and were actually top but both Norwich and Sheff Utd had a game in hand. Norwich then won their next six games. After 40 games we had 76, they had 84. That's what we need to do. If we do I think we'll pass West Brom.
It's not going to do my blood pressure any good but I'll take 1-0 wins all the way in.
I thought Berardi did well, he's solid but can be a bit hot headed, I'd like to get Philips back in. It frees up other players when he's there so we get more out of them.
Harrison has got to get that early ball in! He wasn't the only one guilty but most Boro chances came from one of ours just running into a crowd of players and losing the ball.
As others said, I have no idea how Bamford didn't get at least one today, he must close his eyes when he heads it because he always seems to pick out the keeper, and the open goal, it must have been tougher than it looked.

But we won anyway!

It helps big time when you get an reasonable ref, didn't favour anyone.
A bad ref would have given them a pen, and cost us 2 points.

Saw a stat tonight on Sky after hours.
Kalvin Phillips..highest number of balls into the opponents box, not including corners, in the division 250. Not bad for a crab.
And lets not mention the speculation that he's being called up to the english squad.

he certainly let the game flow. Probably let too much go but agree he was even handed with it. Prefer that to whistle happy. Haven’t seen replay but it looked like handball from Dallas... but then I’ve seen the push on costa and clip on Harrison given too (against us never for us!)
