I agree with all of this but I've been trying to work out why that goal was so exciting. All goals are great but everyone was buzzing and as we all left the stadium you could see it in people's faces.
It could have been a release of tension from the pressure of a small lead, it could be you could see what was happening quite a while before the goal was scored so the excitement gradually built up and that once Armstrong reached the ball, a goal was pretty much a certainty. It was probably a combination of all that but I still smile about it now.
I was also pleased for Armstrong who put in a lot of effort during the match and still had the energy to get on the end of the pass.
I think I might go and have another look.

Yep been a bit busy today for a change, just cooked food as Mrs No7 seemed to have forgotten where the kitchen was and now settling down to a bit of Hunters on Prime.

To be fair I am glad she did as I just cooked the most amazing Aubergine Parmigiana...better than what I would have been served.....

I have no meetings from 8am to 11am tomorrow so I'll put myself busy on Skype and set my status to 'self development' and do it then :)

The first time the now Mrs AS came round to my house and decided to cook, she opened the oven door to find a cylinder head from a BSA B25. I was going to fit new valve guides, but forgot about it.

Never been in a kitchen in my life. That is alien territory where women like to hang out and from where food and clean laundry seem to appear from time to time.

My mate said that the only reason women marry in white is because that is the colour of all domestic appliances.

Once I realised my mother detested me, I think I was about three years old at the time, I knew I had to find another woman to look after me.

It took me 20 years, for when Mrs Godders (when she wasn't) walked into my bedsit she said it was a ****hole and promptly cleaned it up. I knew then she was the one for me. She has been cooking, cleaning and washing for me ever since and she is dirt cheap too, costs me nothing, I haven't had to pay her a penny.

Nowadays she also acts as my unpaid chauffeuse since I had to stop driving. I have always been impressed with how she manages to pay all our household expenses out of her wages meaning all of my pension is for me to spend with my mates down the pub. If I have a criticism of her it is that she is so selfish she expects me to buy her Saints season ticket every year.

All said with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek and meant as a riposte to Fran's comment about "only having a kitchen because it came with the house".

I can assure you the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov is treated like a Goddess. Why only this year I bought her some flowers.

Yes, I also remember that through ball to Ings, where the ball came to him almost behind him and he still managed a great pass. Ings scored and myself and the rest of the Chapel put down our prawn cocktails and politely clapped for a moment. Which match was it though? I loved the second goal from Saturday. One of those things that doesn’t happen that often but so funny when it does and great composure exhibited all around.

It wasn’t the easiest shot in the world even at an open goal, and I half expected the ball to come back off the post.

He put all of his concentration into that shot. So pleased the defender didn't track him and make it difficult! I mean more difficult. <laugh>

I said it earlier. Gonna be a good partnership that one if it eventually gets the chance to click.
