Glad you're all watching it, I've just got in and am f*cked...

Not been the most exciting of second halves. Slightly face saving try for Ireland at the death, finishes 24-12.

Totally dominant performance from England.
The Irish love beating us, so it's always nice to give them a tonking.
The ref was awful, as he always seems to be.
Lots of Irish punches unpunished and the late tackle on May was blatant.
England have a world class squad, but I'm not convinced Jones is the coach to take them forward now.
Deserved Grand slam on the way for France.

I’d drop Farrell, Tuilagi and itoje and sack the coach

Got rather bored 2nd half......England were functional, certainly no where near the levels of the French last night.....

Ireland were, well nothing really, very poor and one dimensional but that could be as a result of the England pressure in first half....

Farrell has a huge job on his hands to reinvigorate this Irish squad...

I think the Saracens fiasco is affecting a lot of the England players, the French look refreshed and vibrant compared to our lot. England missed a trick not getting Andy Farrell on board...

Eddie Jones sacked him when he took over in 2015. He was part of the management team with Stuart Lancaster during our World Cup fiasco.

Must've been a bit weird for him managing a side that is playing against your son who's the English captain.

? Didn’t we just beat Farrell’s team rather easily without playing that well? And I thought the Irish win over Scotland was far from comfortable. They are not as good as they were under Schmidt, but to be fair it’s early days for Farrell, like Pivac at Wales, and the new coaches in France. This was the season for England, with stability and a great World Cup behind them, to stomp on the rest.

Though I think the RFU is a complete joke and the Saracens fiasco and other stuff will damage the English game at the top level long term. We missed a trick not getting Shaun Edwards involved years ago.

Still, today was a good win and we still have a shout at the title, if someone else turns up against France.

I actually meant Shaun Edwards, he's made a hell of a difference to the French. Grey matter is getting patchy...

When Sky get the monopoly of all sports....and find no one can afford them will they just sell back to terrestrial TV stations...
Maybe a BBC / ITV Sport channel could benefit show football before it started in 1992....

The ref took about ten minutes viewing and reviewing the video to decide it was a ‘clear’ (his word) shoulder charge. Balls, it was a yellow at most, just an awkward challenge when North (had to be old punch bag didn’t it?) was already going down.

Absolutely.
I watched the game back last night (didn't know the result) and that red card was ridiculously harsh.
North was on the way down and Tualangi collided with him.
Yellow at worst, but of course, that would of still left us with 13!
England look fantastic at times, but just need that extra something to be the best.
Cutting out the penalties would help, but it's getting harder not to get pinged these days.
What a great Saturday!!!

You do wonder how many more concussive hits North can take, he seems to be a regular fall-guy...
