And he probably would have, except for the precedent that it sets.
It still wouldn't have mattered to Haaland though, who'd prefer to join a side where he'll be guaranteed plenty of starts.
He'd get that now at Spurs because of our injuries, but he'll get it at Dortmund when everyone's fit.
We weren't going to sign him and that's not down to Levy. Other strikers, though...

...but it's not what the player wanted.

His contract at Dortmund is all one way, which is fine if Dortmund are happy to be used.

Metaphorically, Levy may be standing in the gutter but he's definitely looking at the stars.
 
City's Chief Executive has responded to Uefa's ban...

"The fans can be sure of two things. The first one is that the allegations are false; the second is that we will do everything that can be done to prove so."

I believe that they will do EVERYTHING to prove the allegations are false....whether they are or not.
 
A couple of thoughts today:-
1. Man U want 150 million for Pogba. They obviously don't think much of him otherwise he'd be in the team.....yet they think enough of him to want to sell him for 150 million. Am I missing something?

Hope Sonny is ok or we are in the stew....unless Moura can be convinced he is playing a CL game against Man City today......and no jitters from our defence!

I'd prefer it if he thought he was playing Ajax in the CL.

What was VAR doing? Should be a penalty and a red card, as it's a deliberate foul to stop a clear goalscoring opportunity. ****ing useless.

I think Man U might nick 5th from us.No goalscorers left at the Lane. Is their a diamond in the academy?Probably not.Wouldn't get a game anyway!

Nice penalty by Rooney and a very well taken finish by Mitrovic, who has now scored 22 goals in 31 games this season.

I'm just posting them due to some of the interest in these players, to be honest.
It's also a demonstration that there are strikers out there that aren't impossible to get and who could do a better job than literally nobody.

Just preparing and doing our scouting for the 2021/2022 season mate after we go down next year. Millwall and Forest could be interesting, my season ticket might reduce by a fiver too.

So there's a video that's been doing the rounds for a few days of Norbert refusing to answer a question from a hack dispatched by Murdoch's Hate Comic to a press conference

The reason I bring this up is because, as far as I recall, not a single one of their hacks has been allowed into press conferences for at least two years, so either somebody at the club ****ed up, somebody at Murdoch's Hate Comic obtained credentials under false circumstances, or - and this is significantly less likely than the other two options - somebody posed as a Murdochian hack just so they could stage an incident of their not having a question answered
 
Well,after the Chelsea defeat, everyone below 4th can get that 5th position. I can't recall it being so crowded after the 4th position.
I can see us finishing about 10th. I wonder whose favourite to get that 5th place.Certainly not us!
