I've done the ASDA meal for 2 deal now and then where you get a starter main dessert and bottle of red for £10 I always go for the steak though. Decent deal that.

 

Is that where you had a fish cake and gravy?

 

Yeah that was one of them, baked camembert with some sweet stuff, stodgy mash and a steak. Was ok and the steak was really nice.

Prepared pickled shallots ready for brining tomorrow. No not in beer that’s mine, listening to BB King whilst peeling.

 

I like pickled onions but get heartburn every time

 

Nothing worse, luckily I have the constitution of a rhino, these baby’s are going to be brined with red chillies, coriander and mustard seeds and black whole pepper corns.
