on the form table doncaster are 8th and town have dropped to 21st

Doncaster will be the first of two home games;
Preassuer will be mounting on the players and Ricketts to get somthing freom these games
Doncaster have managed to get 7 points out of a possible 15 whilst town have managed 1 point out of a possible 15

Town have struggled to keep clean sheets and score, whilst the performance against Portsmouth was a better one , we continue to struggle to score and reacently once we go behind we have a drop in energy and look unlikley to get back in the game

there is some good news on the injury front Whalley , Walker and Vela may feature on the bench

i would imagine we will see the same starting line up as the Portsmouth game.town badly need to score first and settle there nerves.

Who knows how we will play but let's try not to get on the players backs if things are not going well. At least one win is needed from the next two games if the slump in form is to be halted. Looking forward to seeing Vela play if he comes on.

i hope fans dont either but a poor first half or if we are losing and i suspect we will get more half time booing
town badly need to not do anything stupid in the first 15 minutes and score first.

I have been to over twenty games this season (mostly at home) and have only seen us win five times. Of all the victories in the league I don't think we have won any by more than a single goal. It has been pretty desperate stuff entertainment wise and if this run continues the casual fans will stay away. Other teams have had a lot of games and injuries so that excuse cannot really wash in the long term. We need two wins in the next two games to cheer us all up.

at the last midweek game there could not have been more than 3,500 in the crowd

Don't know why they count all the season ticket holders in the official crowd but many of them clearly stayed away (perhaps they knew something we didn't)! Must be worrying times for the club with the sale of next years season tickets starting soon.

the change in formation did give us more attaking options.

A goal mouth clearence, the post and four very good saves from O'Leary helped town keep a clean sheet, the defence worked incredibly hard. but for me Edwards was my man of the match , he ran himself into the ground but was so crucial in breaking up play,after 70 minutes he looked shattered then he scores and run's like a spring lamb , the goal was the iceing on the cake , Such a blow that he was taken to hosiptal with an injury to his ankle.
McAlery had a good game unfortently he also got an injured hamstring Vela brought some physicality and energy to the team which was very impressive considering it was his first game for town.

Lang had a lot of very poor supply and chased so many lost causes, he cut back a number passes Laurent got on the end of some but he put his shot into row Z ,whilst he got into some good position Udoh lacked composuer in front of goal and really should have done better.the lack of quality and composuer in the last third was a factor in town not scoring more goals today.

the last fifteen minutes was difficult to watch with town sitting deep and inviting pressuer. the whole team deserve credit for working so hard

it is such a relief that we have finally broken this poor run, the delight on the players faces when the final whistle blew was there for everyone to see. getting somthing from this game was so importatnt and all credit to town for doing it ,also Ricketts desrvers credit for changing the formation and allowing town to have more attacking intent, i notice in one period of the game his arms were like a windmill as he wanted town to play higher up the pitch and press Doncaster

I had almost forgotten what a win feels like. Great display by the lads today - credit to Ricketts for changing the formation though some of us have been saying for ages that four at the back will get us higher up the pitch. Nice to see Edwards score but Lang was Man of the Match for me - he run his socks off up and down that right wing all game and delivered a great assist. Also impressed with Vela and Ramsay and they should both improve with more game time. Like most games in this league it could have gone either way but at last it was our day. Bring on Tranmere on Tuesday. Come on Town, let's make it two wins in a row!
