came across this, fomr 4 minutes on it turns into a bit of a horror movie for Horner and Newey

if it had happened a quarter of the way into the seaosn though I think it may have been worse for them.

It was a video taken by a fan at Monza after Webbers car had been hauled away. The stewards left it hanging in a public area about 8 feet off the ground. People were touching it and the video showed unbelievable detail of the entire underside of the car and diffuser. Apparently according to the BBC blog Newey is furious at it.

Very surprised that a personal video can be copyrighted by FOM.

I expect it is where Scarbs got so much of his detail from

Could be encouraging for Ferrari and McLaren next year, eh?

What right do FOM have to censor this? Disgraceful. Only the fans lose out through their crusade against any F1 footage on YouTube. Bastards.

I think Scarbs explanation is excellent, I think Newey may have lost a few of next years little secrets with this, makes sense that Webber is testing a few parts for the RB8 at this point in the season.

Absolutely! How can they claim it belongs to them? Maybe they'll confiscate your signature next. Still, I'm sure their rivals will have a copy somehow ;)

    Cheers, Bob, for the explanation.

the Scarbs site is the best source now.

Photographic and video footage content copyright is owned by the artist not the source or subject in them. I expect this was pulled due to the poster videoing the video feed in the first 4 minutes of the clip then posting it. An edited clip with that bit edited should be fine.

I'd imagine so... and likely have screen prints blown up to poster size on the workshop floor. :)
