Passing - defending - abysmal
Wilks needs to learn to use his right foot - Bowen did
Picking up / marking opponents non existent
But .... did keep going forward

Thought the game strangely entertaining, in a masochistic kind of way.

At least there was some fight in them, heads didn’t go down, but 4 goals for 1 point, hard work. Many questioned where the goals were coming from, good to see 4 different scorers. Calamitous defending though. How many times do we get done by set pieces, how you can leave a player totally unmarked in your own box from a corner is beyond me, surely not everyone turns off? Makes you wonder what they do in training. I thought Ayew showed his class, murdering our defence.

Substitutions baffling, taking Maddison off? He was probably our most dangerous player, fair enough if injured as some question, but Honeyman doesn’t do anything for me. He’s not creative, doesn’t tackle, just runs around a lot, usually arriving when the ball has gone!

All in all, a point is not to be sniffed at, another point for safety, just hugely frustrating to be in front 3 times, apart from the last 5 mins, when desperately seeking the equaliser. Thank goodness we don’t have VAR, as last goal looked offside to us?!

It's a long time since I enjoyed a game as much as last nights in spite of the Sunday League defending. Very entertaining and if that doesn't get more supporters attending then I don't know what will apart from the obvious which is the owners f**king off.
But Terry, he says we suffered defensively as confidence is low, how about bl**dy concentrating and sorting out how yet again we get undone by a set piece.
Preston could be entertaining particularly if we can get our first choice central defenders back alongside Jon Toral and Kevin Stewart.

I have no doubt the defence will get seriously better when Jordy and Reece return fit. We look a different team with them in the side. The real problem for me is the possession. Our stats have been ridiculous and we never have the lions share of possession in any game. In some games we have been absolutely over run. The midfield needs seriously sorting out and we need to find our players with passes. Our points return over the last seven or eight games is abysmal and we are bottom of the form tables. We can’t defend set pieces which is surely a training ground issue. The changes in games at critical points have been baffling and Terry must be watching a different game at times. If we can survive the drop, that should not be taken lightly, then we need to find this club a proper captain in the summer, a midfield general if you like. You need your leaders on the pitch who can battle hard and grind out a bit of possession. No yellows again last night and Swansea got three. No wonder we don’t get the possession. We need to be harder and more professional. It’s much harder to score without the ball than with it.

Ungracious twat Steve Cooper is. His post match interview said all our goals were giveaways and all his goals were well worked. **** off Steve, our defence couldn’t have been more charitable if they tried. What a twat.
He's also probably the ugliest manager we'll ever see.

Reference the Honeyman comment, Irving is of the same ilk, with worse distribution. I’d like to see the pictures he has of Tezza.

Agree. Honeyman seems to me to have become the fall guy for a midfield which has been poor almost all season, whether he is in or out of the team. Irvine has been a constant presence in that midfield and personally I think he has got away with it for months.

Hard to believe that we had both teans competing in the same league
**** me. That is one of the most depressing posts I have ever read. No, let me change that, it is the most depressing post I have ever read.

Happy to contribute :emoticon-0152-heart What do you reckon the score would've been in a match between those teams?
There would have been no match there mate. Too one sided to have been entertaining but if I had to take a stab 8-0. And I would love to see a team like that again. I am yearning for the quality.

Irvine is the only player in current roster who is somehow familiar to me, i know what kind of things he can do and can't do too.
Whoever all other boys it's a big mistery for me. Sadly it's so.

Nah, at least Henriksen has some quality, I currently see nothing in Irvine. What does Irvine bring to the team? Ironically the fact that McCann has made him captain seems to highlight to a greater degree his deficiencies.
Irvine is very much like meyler
Grafts away never stops trying for the team
Probably puts in more yards Than anyone in the team. probably trying too hard and he’s losing confidence and can feel the fans pressure on him.
But he doesn’t give in and and that’s why he’s a first name on the team sheet and was made skipper in Eric’s absence.

That team would have been Champions this season thus ending a 54 year drought !
