I've never understood football in the employer sense. The players are the ones on the pitch during the losing spell and yet none of them get sacked only the manager. In any other walk of life if you aren't doing your job properly be it as worker or manager you would get the chop. Players though have it all ways. They can be as bad as they like but their contract has to be honoured. If not honoured then paid up in full. However if they want to leave and somebody else wants to buy them then they are let go without as much as a whimper because unless they get what they want they will not perform albeit being paid to.

Once again life proves there is a God after all. You won this weekend, we won this weekend and Westley left his building. The only things left to make it perfect is having a party and getting layed. I'm 70 so the last one I'll forego......................well maybe.

Hardly the time to sack someone on a contract though is it. If they have to pay compo and there is no revenue on the horizon then it might get sticky.

After a new start in league 2, they are going to be the team that everybody raises their game against
It's a shame for Hill as he did a great job in keeping Rochdale in The Football League for many years before they got promoted to League 1 after being a League 2 club for decades.
