Quality end from Jordan. It's what makes him so infuriating. He can be excellent; top, top notch. But far too often he's dire.

Even within the same innings, he might bowl two great overs, and two horror overs.

Not really. Roy played a really daft shot, as did Morgan, Stokes and Curran.

 

Also, why was Denly picked ahead of Banton?

 

Or Malan.

Denly doesn't even get into my 15 man t20 squad, let alone the final XI.

Until Moeen remembers how to bat, having him at 7 is far from ideal. But it's just acceptable if there's a complete gun top 6 ahead of him. And that means no Denly.

 

Disagree . Credit where it’s due . Why was the target as high as it was ?

because we were poor at some bowling and fielding .
