Every season mate. 20 points clear for us is like some kind of miracle at this stage of the season. We fight off relegation every season, we just don't have the finances to compete.

Sounds like old Zac thinks City are the best club in the league going off that.
I think Pep is being sarcastic, six leagues in a row as if he didn't have to compete with Real, winning the PL with City several times as though money clubs like Chelsea, United and Liverpool don't exist.
He is taking the piss out of his detractors.

i always predict us to lose on our board... someone has to save the day. my reverse psychology has paid dividends this season..how else can you explain our win vs chelsea and the draw at everton?
