No shout for Fab <yikes>
I was watching one of those FIFA YouTubes where they asked some of our players about their ratings. I can't remember which player but they said to him - one of your teammates is the most used player on FIFA, who do you think it is? - His reply was Virgil but the answer was Fabinho! Apparently he's the most selected player in the world on their latest game.

I dont worry often but i was when Fabinho got injured. However we have managed magnificently without him.

Could say the same woth some of the front three, where origi and others have covered well at times.

This. ^
Nowt wrong with a player wanting to move onwards and upwards - if that's how he sees it - but a professional refusing to give his all is unacceptable. Imo.
In his defence somewhat, I'll say that Coutinho always seemed like a quiet lad, and I think he got his head turned - probably by his agent. Still, I think his ship has sailed, and our team has moved on.

I posted the story on here last summer - weeks before the papers got it, tbh - that Barca were that desperate to let him go that they were prepared to take an immediate £30m loss and let him go back to Liverpool for the £90m that was lest outstanding on their instalment plan (why the **** do we agree to that, btw, when Barca had a £200m cheque burning a hole in their pocket?). Werner was interested in principle, but Klopp said no, even though we made no marquee signing last summer. Heaped on top of that was the news that he'd been offered to Spurs and United for £20m less than that.

The summer of 2017 was bad enough, but Liverpool offered to let him go in the summer of 2018 if he just saw out the rest of the season (contrary to popular belief, it had **** all to do with the VVD transfer, though that was £25m over original budget). The fact that he wouldn't see it out has completely burned his bridges with Klopp, and Klopp has the final say nowadays on transfer - how Brendan wishes he had that.

I wish him luck: he was a key component in the 2014 Nearly Team, and his football has always been a joy to watch. But after shafting us by telling us he was happy in June 2017 and we could build a team around him, then two weeks later letting his dad (who was on a retainer from Barca to get the transfer done under 100m euros) get into his head to move, and to strike if necessary was bad enough (and yes, I know we doing the same think with VVD at Soton at the time), but to then piss in Klopp's face in the following winter has just lost him all standing. Shame - I think we'd have won the CL in 2018 and last year's Prem too with him. And for that reason he's unforgiven.

VVD is too expensive on it. Fabinho is affordable and very good in the DM role; tall, not too slow but his tackling stats are immense. That's why he's used so much.

When your talking about irreplaceable there are 3 players for liverpool that couldn't be swapped with anyone else. Allison, vvd and firmino. Allison and virgil because they are the best in the world.

Firmino because I can't think of one player that could come in and do his job with anywhere near the skill and capability he does.

Thinking about it I'd but trent and Robinson in that category as well.

To my mind, it's a team and no individual is irreplaceable - though some would obviously be very difficult. Klopp is the glue that holds it together.

What makes them think that Liverpool will sell Firmino?.Every club would like to have him, Liverpool are not crazy to put him up for sale at any price.I think Firmino himself is very happy at Liverpool .

If we lost firmino, obviously you could bring in someone else but it would require a shift in how we set up, how we play, I can't think of anybody who could come in seamlessly.

Hopefully we win the title, some people will not accept us as great until we win the premiership title two or three times .Why do we need to dismantle our team?

We have a true 'team'. It's a bit like saying if you took a part out of a Rolls Royce engine would it work the same with any other generic part. Possibly,? Probably? But not as well.

<ok>

I don't play the game but I thought it was an interesting fact.

Have you got him in your team?<whistle>

No, PL players are more expensive so I went for Bundesliga players instead.

Mane, Salah and VVD all more expensive individually than my entire team. And I've got a decent team too!

I think hes been brought in as back up and maybe long term successor to firmino. Hes got a long way to go, but possess similar attributes
What, like two legs and a head?

Only joking mate, when i seen him play against you the first thought that came into my head was that he was a perfect fit for your team and the way they play. He will/may take a bit of time to get used to the PL but he looked absolutely made for you in the games i watched.
