He asks me to help him with the previews. There's an excellent preview of the match on CL by Sage, who is one of their best posters.

Just googled it, it's worth a visit tbf.Anyone who does get up there might like to visit the pitcher and piano on high pavement. Simply put it’s the most stunning boozery ive ever supped in in this this country.

anyone have any clue as to when we started singing mull of kintyre?
forest sing it too
Forest sing it about 2 minutes before the kick off, hairs on the back of your next stuff. It absolutely ruins YNWA by the mickies. Some time shortly after Paul McCartney had a hit with it, I would guess.
End of the '70's?
'Valley Floyd Road' is an institution with the fans now, I accept that.
But the tune being borrowed from one of the corniest old bits of sentimental tat that Macca ever came out with (and sentimental tat was something he excelled at) is just embarrassing to me, and always will be.
Fortunately by now, most fans under 40 probably aren't even aware of the original chart-topping ditty.

My friend had that played as he was laid to rest.Red Red Robin all day long![]()
I'm being serious, the entire ground sing it.
They are now singing "Bowyer Out"If you say so. I've never been there. Never been to Anfield either.
My favourite chant recently was the one about being f**king dynamite now we've got Lee Bowyer.
But I understand we pinched the tune for that from somebody else.
Do the home fans still sing it? (this is an open question).
I've missed a few home games recently, but I don't really recall hearing it the last few times I was there.

[HASHTAG]#Lardi[/HASHTAG], if we'd got a thrashing every time you expected one our goal difference would be astronomically minus. I honestly don't know why I feel optimistic about this game. Maybe because we played so well against them last time, despite a rather unlucky draw. I really hope Bowyer finds a place for Doughty in the team. His energy makes a difference.Well Matt sounds full of beans and up for the challenge. Good for him
I doubt if confidence is quite as high among LB and the players, but that's only to be expected.
The couple of home wins since Christmas will have felt good, but if Forest are on their game this evening we could get a merciless hiding.
Even a defeat could be regarded as a result if it's only by the odd goal.
What we really don't need is a double figure minus GD.
