Ahem.

Working on danish ferry parked up in amsterdam.
Danes love beetroot, inexplicably.

Have ignored the beetroot humous, narrow escape, I thought it was some sort of berry/fruit dessert thingy.

With brekky there is 2 jugs of what I thought was smoothies, but was puzzled by the shot glasses.
Asked, told one is ginger, one beetroot.
So bored I tried them.
NEVER again.

Nobody knows. Nothing has changed since last week's 'source close to the club' tried to start a bidding war with people who do not look inclined to get into a bidding war and already have a deal they're quite happy with.

I suspect it'll be dropped on us rather quickly if it does happen this month. My mrs reckons 6-8 weeks for DD of this scale, less if they've done some recently. So if someone came on today as a completely new buyer, it would likely be April. If they have been doing it since January and are just negotiating price, it could happen sooner.

Long story short, we haven't got anything better to do than chuckle at the faculties of our more 'veteran' colleagues...
Other than Fuhrman quitting MSD

It's only been on the Echo 20mins! :D

I would probably not read too much into this one, except it could mean less link to Michael Dell, but I suspect everyone knew that was a bit of a stretch anyway.

I’m going to read into it that he is doing this takeover himself, then again he might not

Maybe Fuhrman got cold feet and the other two can go ahead now.

He's retiring from MSD, I think it's more likely just a thing where he wants to invest on a different set of principles to MSD. Given this wasn't involving MSD and was their personal investment (I believe) they could still be ok going into business together.

The problem is, the Echo, and other sources, are reporting even the slightest move that these three make and it's all being over-interpreted. Most of what's happened in the past week or so probably means absolutely nothing with regard to their intentions towards SAFC.

Wouldn't get too high or low on it. It's been planned a while. Doubt if it means a lot yet, maybe more will come out in time.

Maybe the only thing I read into it of any note is that Phelan is likely quite tied up with MSD's running, so I doubt he'll be keen on anything that takes away from his time. I think the original deal of a convertible loan that doesn't involve their input at this stage is good for someone in that position. A full takeover would seem difficult if the two main guys are tied up in those businesses, one at a very early stage and the other being ran by him for the first time without the other.

But again, wouldn't get high or low. Nobody thinks they're going to take over soon anyway, right?

I'd be surprised if the three of them invest in us now. A business being split when it is successful usually means there's a personal reason for it. So that personal reason would be there for FPP too. If any, it will be 1 or 2 investing, or even better Dell will join whoever is left.

I suspect there is some truth to this and even if they're willing, I think the logistics may have changed.

I don't think MSD will ever come on board though. Gut feeling, but this seemed to be something they wanted to do as a group away from it.
