  5. Inter will win nothing with Eriksen.

Mou will win something at Spurs, though.

    Mark my words.

Everyone could see those coming. The demise of The Gooners was a slow process and not so obvious so you can have that one.

  8. He has won something at every club he's been at, including a very ****e United. He was the difference.

If he can do it at United, he can most definitely do it at Spurs.

This is true but there's also a decline that is clear to see and the funny (for non Spurs fans) part could be that the first club he's gone to that are so very desperate to end their trophy drought is the one club where he fails to win a trophy. You've sold your soul to the devil and no longer play like Spurs in a trade off for some silver. What if he fails?

  10. I made each of those predictions well ahead of the pack.

As I said, I was wummed mercilessly for doing so.

Not really predictions though were they?
Wenger being sacked ffs, Arsenal fans had been calling for his head for about 5 years by the time he actually went.
Fab going was a foregone conclusion as soon as his "parent club" as it were, admitted interest.
Benitez? Which sacking are you referring to? Liverpool? Inter? Madrid? Real? Napoli? Chelsea? Newcastle?

You didnt really go out on a limb for any of these predictions did you?

  13. I don't think so.

He went back to Chelsea, which was a huge mistake, and yet he won them more glory.

He gave in to his ego and took the poisoned chalice which is the United job, and that was an even bigger mistake, and he still managed to win them glory, and get them to finish the highest in the league since Fergie.

His coming to Spurs is the first decent decision he's made in a long time, and yet you think he's going to buck the trend and, for the first time in his career, win nothing?

I believe that you are wrong.

Nothing is ever certain in football, as in life.

However, if you are going to put money on any manager winning something with us, are you seriously saying that you wouldn't put it on Mourinho?

Sorry, but I don't agree with this.

What we are seeing at the moment is a period of transition and experimentation, as Mourinho tests the boundaries with his squad. Even at this early stage, I can see what he's trying to do. Already, I see a better shape to his teams than I did during the dying embers of Poch's tenancy. As time goes by, we will see him mould this team into something truly special and exciting to watch.

What, like every other manager we've had, in recent seasons?

The only one who has won anything with us in recent times is Ramos. Do you honestly believe that he was better for us then Mourinho is for us, now?

  14. Again, you fail to appreciate that I was predicting all of these thing long before it was fashionable to believe that they'd come true.
