This is true but there's also a decline that is clear to see and the funny (for non Spurs fans) part could be that the first club he's gone to that are so very desperate to end their trophy drought is the one club where he fails to win a trophy. You've sold your soul to the devil and no longer play like Spurs in a trade off for some silver. What if he fails?

I don't think so. He went back to Chelsea, which was a huge mistake, and yet he won them more glory. He gave in to his ego and took the poisoned chalice which is the United job, and that was an even bigger mistake, and he still managed to win them glory, and get them to finish the highest in the league since Fergie. I believe that you are wrong. Nothing is ever certain in football, as in life. However, if you are going to put money on any manager winning something with us, are you seriously saying that you wouldn't put it on Mourinho? Sorry, but I don't agree with this. What we are seeing at the moment is a period of transition and experimentation, as Mourinho tests the boundaries with his squad. Even at this early stage, I can see what he's trying to do. Already, I see a better shape to his teams than I did during the dying embers of Poch's tenancy. As time goes by, we will see him mould this team into something truly special and exciting to watch.
