I managed to watch it, great display from the whole team tbh.
Handled shrewsburys physicality brilliantly and totally out played then with the ball, was literally like watching the 1st team minus the cutting edge up front.
The FA must love us after that
I was going to say something, but didn't in case people thought I was accusing Shrews of being thuggish. But really the stats don't lie. Kids turned up to play football, Shrewsbury turned up to physically threaten a group of boys.The foul count.
Its the old, 'if the kid is too good and quick. I'll kick him till he's scared ****less to go near me' routine
I wouldn't say they were overly aggressive but deffo tried to rattle the kids especially early on, all good as it never worked
Have to say there was a massive improvement from Sepp. He won almost all headers strong in the challenge and didn't over commit. Kelleher did his best to throw the ball as he did in his previous matches.

With Lallana likely to leave in the summer, I think jones could be a good replacement. And Neco could be a good back up to Trent.

I am not sure but thought getting 53000 to this game was a fantastic effort by the fans

The kids got us through so I think they deserve to play the next round but I can't help but think we should go all out for the treble. The league is won, rest players in league games. Three trophies is a bigger achievement than the invincibles tag!
