I suppose they have to, but surely there's no-one taking them up on it now?
They have to offer something to the "Compulsive Gamblers"![]()
Indeed. If you've got a million to invest, I'm sure there are many more lucrative ways. They've been known to pay out on smaller gaps in the past.
Seems extremely pointless at 1-1000 though; for example... you'll only get £1,000 back if you put a million on it. Even a millionaire isn't going to see it as worth it for a grand!
William Hill's title odds:
Manchester city 8/15
Liverpool 5/2
Tottenham 16/1
Chelsea 28/1
Manchester United 33/1
Arsenal 40/1
Everton 200/1
Leicester 200/1
Wolves 200/1
West Ham 500/1
Newcastle 750/1
Aston Villa 1000/1
Crystal Palace 1000/1
Watford 1000/1
Burnley 1500/1
Southampton 1000/1
Bournemouth 1000/1
Brighton 1500/1

So if I get this right....
I put £20 on Liverpool to win the title, I lose £20?

City are 25 points behind with 9 games left and are only 50-1? They are **** odds.
I cannot see us losing 9 games in a row , and Manchester city winning all their 9 gamesSurprised you can even get odds tbh, bookies have paid out on smaller leads with more games left before
.No, but you could lose 9 games in a bap!I cannot see us losing 9 games in a roll, and Manchester city winning all their 9 games.
