Good luck to the kids. It will be a good test for them up against a proper professional team. I feel they may try to bully us.

This is my fear. We’ll have the legs but without a scattering of first team players I fear that they will flat track bully the boys.

I do think that the likes of Lovren, Matip and Fab should take accountability for the dross they served up and offer to play to put he situation right.....they can’t be too happy with their respective performance can they?

I don't think it's their decision. Klopp is making a stand on this. Whether he relents remains to be seen, but it's in his hands.

To be honest
IF we win the league early I think it will have a negative effect on CL prospects as we lose that edge and possibly the desire
Hope I am wrong like :)
I know this is your MO, but surely the opposite is the case?
If the league is sewn up, then we'd concentrate our efforts on remaining competitions. It's the final points total that's in jeopardy, because once we've won it there'll be no need to keep at it.

I actually share Bumps concerns here. Sure, we can concentrate on the CL but staying sharp & competitive is extremely important. I'm sure Klopp won't let them relax though

I don't see it that way at all. I think we'd turn our attention to the CL - if we're still in it. What's likely to go out of the window is the unbeaten record and possibly the record points total, depending on how soon the league is won.

We usual don't play as well when we've had time to prepare. I think were generally better when the fixtures come thick and fast (but obviously can't sustain that level of demands over a long period of time)

Tbh I would much rather have the CL than the invincible tag
I think - however if you consider how fondly the Arsenal invincible’s are remembered is there a debate there
Surely if we were to win every game between now and end of season and only dropped two points that could actually be more impressive than than the CL ?

I think pretty much what Z said
I would hope that we are pro enough to keep minds on it
Given our displays this season there would be no reason for this to not happen

It's a funny one, the "invincibles" arnt even close to being the best prem team I've ever seen, but they are spoke about like they where an unbelievable side.

Going the season unbeaten is definitely something special and will live longer than another champions league win.

TBF, teams have won the CL & PL in the same season are talked about too (although I think this is only Man Utd)

I want it all tbh, unbeaten in the league and the the 1st prem team to retain the champions league (which will also be 3 finals in a row)

If we can keep winning up til the city game and then beat city ill get excited about going unbeaten, not really thinking about that right now tbh
