We didn't 'give' Leicester anything, they won that title fair and square - Champions by 10 points in the end, yes we lost our last 2 matches to make allow the gap to grow, but Leicester didn't lose a match after they lost to the Goons in the February of that season - We pushed them hard until Clattenburgs intervention and the 'The Battle of the Bridge' allowed him to ensure that the medias dream of Leicester winning the title was brought to fruition. We would not have caught them even if we had won every match in the run in and unfortunately once the title had gone we ran out of legs, unlike the Goons who at that time were always excellent once they couldn't win the league!

The fixture list in the run-in finally did for Spurs.
Playing 4 consecutive games AFTER Leicester played theirs meant that
we could not close the gap to put any pressure on them (contrast with 2016-17)
over a good 3-4 weeks.

That aside, IMHO where Spurs mentally lost the PL was the consecutive
fixtures against the Spanners and the Goons. One pt from 6 was not good
enough for a team with champion aspirations.

Looks like the Bruno deal is done, photos emerging of him in a Utd tracky. Great signing for them if he produces anywhere near the figures he was getting at Sporting. Plus it likely means they won’t have to see Lingard again so win-win.

That was the next season when we were chasing down Chelsea wasn't it?
