well that was interesting . Serves us right since ,as previously stated , a bunch of our players looked like they would win by right rather than having to do the work first .
Fair play to Shrewsbury they deserved what they got just as we did .

I don't think it's a lack of respect. I've seen and heard a lot of post-game comments saying similar. I think it's more that Klopp doesn't give a **** about the FA cup when we're striding towards the PL and in the knockout stages of the CL. Imagine if he went full strength today or eve half strength and then Hendo is shattered for the Wham game or Bobby picks up a knock? He's prioritising as every good manager should.

The fact that we didn't win 4-0 today like City did shows more that our backups are simply 'bang average' who are elevated with the quality of the first XI rather than Klopp chose to disrespect Shrewsbury.
Citeh's win was more to do with Fulham playing for 84mins with 10 men at the Etihad. Frankly Citeh were also pretty poor for most of the game, once they gone 2-0 up the middle part of the game was rubbish. Its was only when Fulham tired that Citeh scored the other 2.
Fulham gave up on winning that game after 6mins and just turned into damage limitation.

City got the softest red card in history

We'd play against 7 men every week if we got the same calls

So City put out a fairly strong team and win but Klopp doesn't whinges about replays. Sounds about right.

To be fair it was the senior players who were disappointing. I think we had enough to beat them, but weren't at it

City put out a squad with one homegrown player

<laugh>. You do realise that that strong team that pep put out was their B team don’t you?? That’s what half a billion net spend can do for you. Unless you’re Man Utd, obviously <ok>
Yeah sure mate.
