Potential new ownership planning to invest an extra £100million per season into the transfer pot apparently. At least for the first 2 or 3 years...
Is this genuine or just made up ****e like usual? The amount of different stories about these so called “plans” is getting tedious. It comes across like they think of new facts to come out with to make it sound more realistic.
It's all from the 'people close to the deal' sources quoted in the papers. There seems to be a lot of promising noise, but pretty much everything is from these nameless 'people'. Which is why we'll probably all be crying into our beer by the end of next week.

Why’s it unusual timing? Just seems like another “season ticket renewals will be not far off” situation again. Ashley is such a clever fella, knows exactly what he’s doing.

The takeover stuff's real. It usually is when every side "declines to comment".
The Rafa thing, that's surely made up? Begs the question, though - if this was all real and we are under wealthy/ambitious owners, who would you realistically like to see in charge of Newcastle United?
Personally think Pochettino is by far the best option.
