Riesling and good in the same sentence is pretty much impossible.

There’s an oil slick on the plate.

No idea what that’s all about.

It looked alright barring the oil slick. Less is more bruv. A drizzle would have sufficed <laugh>

I can’t stand Riesling, I can’t get beyond the cheap German piss that was considered sophisticated in the British culinary void that was the 70/80’s. I’ve not tried a new World version in fairness, as I’d never buy one.

The best ones are the Alsace Riesling versions, the French sort it out.

    Deffo too much oil.

The risotto looks really good though, bravo.

    Decent stock?

As for Reisling, tad too sweet to be taken seriously. Just not a fan of the sweeter white wines.

People need to try the new world and French versions, not sweet at all.

I’d eat it. Risotto isn’t as good good as chiefs. I haven’t made one in years. I used to do one on a Monday night with left over chicken from the roast and sweet corn. Was good.

<laugh> gotta love @luvgonzo dedication to this thread.

the world would be a much worse place without him.

he get's pelters daily, then posts a can, tries again, gets pelters, posts a bottle of wine.

    Luv owns this thread.

Steak looks nice. Amazed that no-one has asked you about that stray pair of bollocks next to the beans.
