    Nice to have a bit of luck with penalties for a change but tonights big pluses for me was going through the team;

Turnbull: looked sure & safe and must soon become Chelsea's No2
Ferreira: Never ceases to amaze me what a great servant he has been for the club and played his usual reliable game.
Bertrand: Excellent deputy for Ash, good game for him.
Romeu: My man-of-the-match the only stand out performance
Luiz: good game, though a little concerned with his positional sense at times.
Malouda: Indifferent, good & bad in the same game.
McEachran: Great game and showed his pedigree with the second best performance of the night.
Lukaku: Good big lad still coming to terms with the pace of the premier league, needs time.
Kalou: Bloody awful and out of form.
Danny: A livewire and always dangerous, played well until injury.
    JT: Legend<ok>
Lamps: Played some great balls and showed his class.

    What say you?

The quicker we get malouda and kalou out the better, maloudas too inconsistent and kalous just **** full stop and i don't see how they even warranted a place tonight, it was the carling cup so we could of gave Lalkovic a debut, at least these young boys want to prove themselves so there be trying non stop. Agree with most of your other ratings apart from the lampard one, he done good but it wern't even fulhams full team and the penalty miss worries me and is further proof his age is starting to show unfortunately. Thought Josh was the main man for me, done everything perfect and hardly put a foot wrong, shame due to the injuries and sending off we couldn't give drogba a run out, but onwards and upwards and i'm looking forward to the Swansea game saturday. I don't know about anyone else as well but i know our penalty shootout record was **** before this one tonight, well still is in a way but did anyone get the feeling even when lampard missed the first one we'd still win? AVB just seems to bring some new found confidence that Carlo couldn't bring, obviously were still growing as were in transition and AVB needs a year but apart from Malouda and Kalou every player just seems to work out of their skin 90% of the time and last season that just didn't seem to be the case

That big striker, he really is the next Drogba hey!
Just watching the highlights now, and took me a while to realise it wasn't actually Drogba!

Just hope he doesn't get drogbas record against arsenal!

Agree 100% with those analysations <ok> Kalou needs to go, I could put up with Malouda if he didn't feel the need to shoot when NOT necessary! Lampard was playing some killer balls through to Kalou, Malouda and Danny, hopefully that's a sign of him getting his season going.

Romeu's passing is sublime, something we really need in his role. He will definitely flourish into a star, sadly I can see him going back to Barca but hopefully something turns his head here <ok>

I'm happy with that performance, especially since it's our B side. Kalou out De Bruyne in and I think we'll be alright!

That's the one thing that annoys me about him every time it's a shot when one isn't needed and you know it's just going to come to nothing, and i hope we bring in Pereira and De Bruyne in january/end of season and get rid of them two clowns, thought we played very well though especially when we went down to 10 men, the future looks bright!!

Ginge---I'll go along with most of that! Romeu and McEachran must be serious candidates for PL selection before the seasons out! Nice to know we've got a reliable back up for Ash as well. AVB must back this side to play as far as they go in the competition, which I think is his plan.

kalou is shocking and has to go and I think we can all agree on that... malouda, I think he is past it and should leave as well.
Happy with romeu as he played a blinder last night... a great signing...
I think in all, the eam is looking good and hopefully we can build on what we have done this season.

Ermmm did not Kalou score the penalty that ultimately was the winner. AVB spoke one on to just the one player in the ET break and he said will you take a penalty? Kalou nodded instantly.

So kalous good because he can score a penalty and we should all forgive all his years of playing ****? Penalties are 50-50 anyone can score a penalty and anyone can miss a penalty
