Rung up this afty to book my tix, smooth transaction, tix loaded onto my season card.

"So that's blah blah blah plus the £2 booking fee."

You what? A 2 min chat, no postage or owt.

Multiply this by 15,000 that's 30, 000 quid just for them doing their job and taking my money.

£30,000 could have bought you Peter Fletcher back in 1974.

It’s costly for City Man, insisting he lives his life in 1974.

That makes two of us, I always buy away tickets over the telephone*, and saw no reason to change for Chelsea at home.

* Bringing back away direct would save me doing so.

You don't , it took me about 30 seconds to sort out my Chelsea ticket and get loaded onto my membership card .All done online , simple. CM just wants the attention of trying to be controversial .

Haters gonna hate.

I can not book my seat in W5 as apparently it has been reserved for use by the Club....33 minutes on hold waiting...they are going to get back to me when they have sorted it out!

Would have bought the bastard last Sat but the biscuit tin was being used for Derby away next week.

Liked the Beatles when they first came out. You had to be around at the time to appreciate how fresh and new they sounded. Then I looked up the artists they covered, same with the Stones, both of them always credited their influences, and found I liked the originals better.
Also everyone loved the Beatles and that isn’t what you wanted. You wanted parents to either have not heard of what you liked or if they had heard of them not like it.
Strangely, I now appreciate them far more and how good they were. What they did, tours, singles, albums, films and the amount of records sold in 7 years was phenomenal. Compare the output of bands that have or were in existence for two and three times longer and they were nowhere near in quantity or quality.

The Beatles version of You Really Got A Hold of Me is better than the original, same for Little Red Rooster by the Stones. That's just my opinion. My favourite Beatles album is the first, even after all these years.

My favourite Beatles single was Yellow Submarine. Timeless. Didn't Howling Wolf cover it ?

The biscuit tin , does it contain a cheddar sandwich about to sprout legs .
Mebbe, but the sandwich's uncle (Sir Ole Biscuit-Barrel) stood for election in Luton several years ago...Ole Ole ! ( see approx 1:45 to 2:15 +).
