Why do you ask?
Well, it'd be a bit like getting a bollocking off your dad but knowing he doesn't really mean it!If young, fit football players are scared of that silly old ****. FFS, how could you expect them to put a shift in on the pitch?
Seriously![]()
Wondering where all the strong opinions were coming from.
ByeI don't know him, but I know someone who does. I won't name them obviously, but they're Nottingham.
You know what, I'm going to have to leave this there.
Trust me, I'm not being funny or anything. I just know he's a ****.
If I'm pressed on this, I promise you and anyone else. I'll close my account on here and that will be that.
Not this "Shakey" is it ?Have a soft spot for Watford , only because their strip looks like an anemic version of ours and we pipped them twice to promotion . Hope Mr. Pearson keeps them up with the help of gentlemen Shakey .
It's 5 - 0 now

N. Pearson is forthright. Reacted with candour to stupid questions posed in post match interviews.
Refreshing i.m.o. Plus has had some success. Exact opposite to t'other Nige in temperament. It's working @ Watford - probably due to his rapport with the returning Deeney.
If the opportunity to move to a higher placed club when your present club is in turmoil, who wouldn't. They are chattels in the world of football. Every man for himself.
Relegated, threatened with a winding up order, yes, turmoil. Then up steps papa, cheque book in hand.
Hmmm, thinks Nigel, a benefactor to bring in one or two to steady the ship. Perhaps talks had begun to bring players in, how best to get the club back in the Prem, only to wake up morning to a picture of a field and talks of building a new stadium, that escalated into front page spats.
Possibly the first person to see the Allams in a true light, and then Leicester came calling. A way out, phew.
CM , your memory seems to be way off just lately . The EFL programme was on the BBC when a well placed ball from Robbie Koren saw City dispatch the Foxes when Nicky Barmby was our boss and Nigel P was interviewed .I'll always remember the Saturday night EFL prog on C5 as it was then.
NP being interviewed after he'd lost to a late one here to a team caretaker-managed by Nicky Barmby.
NP was being asked what advice he would give to NB about taking the job.
He was remarkably evasive with his response.
And I'm sure I didn't dream it but daft smoggy Clem was doing a feature on the Allams and City, fairly early in the Allam Reich. Clem patted Assem Allam on the head Benny Hill style as he woun up his interview ...reckon maybe 7 or 8 years ago now..
Neil’s latest - Colorado - is surprisingly good. Best since Ragged Glory/Freedom days. Not bad for a 72 yr old or whatever he is.Not this "Shakey" is it ?
