Goalll!!!!!!

Huws over the top to Norwood who runs clear of the defensive line and chips the 'keeper

How good to hear that the whole team are playing their game, and in their right positions too - gotta help!

Shame that Holy is not between the sticks tho.Whats Paul got agin him?

Big confidence booster, this, and good timing to kick start our season.

Moral Mr Paul- keep same team more or less, every game, except for injuries.

Afternoon gaffer, he will probably think that whole sale changes for the Oxford game are what is required to keep this momentum going

So we get to half time 3-0 up.

It has been an enjoyable 45 minutes of football.

We started very brightly and the passing was crisp and positive. Good movement and a forward thinking mentality meant we put Accrington on the back foot from the start. The three defenders look good as a unit. Wilson is no nonsense in the middle, Woolfenden is playing more like an attacking full back at times and Chambers has made some lovely passes to help our attack.

The midfield two look balanced, with both Huws and Downes capable of winning the ball back and passing forward. Garbutt and Edwards haven't got all of the attacking responsibility and are contributing well. Judge is pulling the strings and feeding the strikers. Norwood should have a hattrick at least and Jackson is terrorizing the Stanley defence with his pace.

We have been first to the second ball and are keeping possession much better than I have seen for a while. Our play is all on the front foot and the change in pace is very noticeable. There isn't a player out there that hasn't played well so far.

I still think Norwood is ****
I tend to agree.
He has been selfish at times today, choosing to shoot when there were much better options.

Sears is similar to Norwood but makes better runs and is more likely to make an assist when it's on.
