I post to those who will have a mature chat. If I am removed from the site for reporting your vulgar posting, then it says more about the site than me.
There's been no threats or abuse. I'm that daft I'm trying to stop you getting banned here when I should just keep letting you dig a hole for yourself.
“Autism”. That’s from you as I posted your comment was statistically inaccurate. That is abuse. Plain and simple. I have not abused you in any way. This is my last comment on the matter
It's an interesting one with Lafferty, just because he had that lifestyle at the age of 29 when set loose in an Italian city doesn't mean he'll be the same at Sunderland at 34. Clearly he's going to be training with the rest of them. I don't expect him to be in brilliant shape but I do expect him to be a handful and considering that between them Grigg and Wyke have three goals this season, which is nothing short of embarrassing for them, I'd be willing to bet he'll do better on that front.
Exactly this. I don't want him to fail obviously, I just think it's blindingly obvious he will. He was poor (to say the least) at his peak, and he's now well past it. Add to that the well-documented attitude problems and I'm absolutely amazed that we keep managing to make such mind-bogglingly awful signings. When I told my Norwich-supporting mate about this signing his response was "hahahahaha your clubs a joke". A ringing endorsement
While he clearly has issues ..a footballer who likes a drunk and a leg over is hardly an aberration. Frank Worthington anyone. My issue is that he is no different from wyke or grigg...ie he is goal shy. Given he is only with us 6 mths I suppose it has merit but I hope we send back macnulty. Get rid of grigg and bring in madine and who knows. I just feel we lack a nimble greedy type of striker in the box. PP seems to like his big lumps up front.
Not back then but I don't believe any footballer would thrive who went about on the piss these days. Footballers are now being treated like the valuable assets to the company that they're. Their weight, heart rate, fitness and diets are constantly being checked. There's nowhere to hide for the modern day footballer, they need to be fitter than ever and going on the lash regularly isn't going to allow anybody to flourish.
Another post for 'highly strung staffy'to follow me about on. Love to see his faux righteous indignation on display. Bless
Follow you about? I mean sure, I think you're a prick. Who doesn't? I'm not following you about, though. Until 2 days ago I hadn't been posting since before Christmas you knacker.
Well this post has certainly changed the last two pages, lol. Getting back onto Lafferty though, we all have our opinions on him and different ones at that I personally don’t like the signing but c’mon lads he signed now so let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. I remember years gone by when Sunderland fans always got behind a player so let’s see what he does for us in the time he’s here, he might like it here and you all know yourselves if you really enjoy your job you give it a bit more effort. KTF
They all come with their own baggage for sure, but I doubt the club even cast their net that far to take a look. McCormack is in the same bracket as Lafferty for me, he'd be an absolute no. But the rest, you wonder why we haven't at least approached for them to come and train with us for a while to get a closer look at them - Bradley Wright Phillips in particular.
Like most posters on here, I think the risks are high, but if he is used as cover for Wyke then its a decent deal, PP seems to have an idea about the shape of the side he wants, and has made some progress of late, more so than JR managed in the post Maja period, if I read it right, this is a sensible approach, only time will tell. OaU.
The only Italian City I had any experience of was Genoa, and if you got away with anything there thank your lucky stars.
