I thought TAIG was an insult to the Irish catholics.

You can march all you want. Boris says NO to your referendum. The dream is over, you should accept it, get on with the rest of your life and concentrate on helping us build a bright future for Scotland as part of the UK.

You know if wee Nippy had that ^^^^^ attitude instead of only caring about independence, the services and delays on all the projects up here might be running a lot better.

Just a thought like.
Just a thought!

Going by that pish thinking doesn't seem to be one of your best assets Nige.

“Our land”

That’s just more romanticised bollocks.
They like to stir up hatred and bad feeling. Some SNP supporters were openly calling for Tory supporters to have their ****s kicked in after the election. Aldo is insistent that the Jocks don't like the English much, yet I've been back and forwards for two years to an SNP stronghold, I've been polite and courteous to the locals, the good people and the not so good people and I've not had any trouble whatsoever.

I like the English. But I'd go down on Sturgeon every day for the rest of her life if it meant not being governed by Boris and the Tories.

See, I'd bend over and pull my cheeks apart as far as possible and let Boris and Jacob Rees-Mogg double penetrate me if it meant never being solely governed by the SNP up here.

I like the Scottish and their beautiful country.

Truth is, I agree with Trev in that whoever is in charge won't affect me. That's the reality. I have my education, I have my career, I have private health cover if needed, I own my properties and don't need help getting on the ladder and I have money in the bank. If I need to get Visa's to travel, I'll get them easily and my tax will stay the same/maybe go down depending on where I work and for how long.

But I'm thinking of the people that need the most help. The generation just coming up. They have no ****ing chance under current rule for any sort of decent life unless they are lucky to be Born in the right area to the right people. That's not how it should be. And while I voted No originally, if Labour can't get in, which they can't as they are a train wreck, then an Independent Scotland, still having the full benefits of being part of the EU seems a far better proposition than a government that have no interest in giving help where help is truly needed.

Why do flat earthers never go into space for a photo. I've only ever seen drawings of flat earth.

I get that although I'd argue that an independent Scotland wouldn't get inside the EU. At least not for many years until it can reduce it's deficit and hit all the criteria. There's a possibly that may not happen, there's a possibility that the UK leaving the EU will severely damage that Union. However people want to look at it, we are a huge fish and net contributor to that and it will have a big impact on them when we leave. Again, I fully appreciate that will be disputed by folk who support the European Union.

It's admirable your way of thinking about people who need it the most, but you wouldn't cut your nose off to spite your face? I'm not sure I buy into the generation coming up not having any sort of decent life. Anybody who goes out there and puts the graft in should do alright in life. I'm not sure if you come from a privileged background, but I come from a rough council estate where we had nothing. I remember not going on a school trip because my Mother was single and struggling. She was too embarrassed to say so just told the school I was bad when the trip came around. If I can pull myself out of that lifestyle and I know of other locals who were similar and have also come out well, then I believe it's not a closed shop now like some people want to believe. It's always down to how bad some people want it.

London is a different kettle of fish to the rest of the UK. They've got very little chance of getting on the property ladder and having a comfortable life. It's still not all that hard for the rest of us.
