This is the longest preamble to a matchday thread ever.

I just hope that the sun will be shining and there will be enough light reflecting off the ocean to ensure that we have clear blue skies over Wolverhampton.

Stunning 3-1 win to the Toon. Joelinton hatrick and OG to take him onto 5 for the season.

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce finishes up with some team news...

Paul Dummett, Jetro Willems, Ciaran Clark, Andy Carroll and Miguel Almiron are apparently all fit and ready for action but Allan Saint-Maximin and Jonjo Shelvey won't make the trip to Wolves.

Fabian Schar is also out injured and American full-back DeAndre Yedlin has picked up a knock that means he'll require a late fitness check.

Where did you get your sports physiotherapy degree and how did the physio sessions yesterday and today go with the players Cap as you were obviously there?

I don't know why we bother listening to his press conferences when he blatently lies to us about player fitness.

Get this was tongue in cheek, but realistically why is there such a thing as a press conference? It's the most banal, non-committal, pointless exercise in football, alongside post-match interviews ("the boys done well, it's not about scoring, picking up points was the main fing" or "we're disappointed, not quite what we hoped for, couple of bad decisions have cost us today").

    No you didn't.

He had a sore ankle and he pulled a hamstring, he was sprinting on that ankle and didn't injury it.

You twice guaranteed he would injury the ankle and he never did.

Once in a while you get gems though. So its worth a shot in the dark for the manager to have a bad morning and rage.

No ... when you have an injury to automatically put strain on other areas !! It was always going to.happen...

I called for him to be rested... he was not... we lost him and every game since for the price of one weeks rest

Yes, at some point the law of averages he certainly would have gotten injured. Especially since his game is 90% running like a nutter.

But claiming some prediction weeks before the event, when you didn't, is embarrassing.

You do not understand basic biology my foolish friend .

I called for him to be rested... he was not... we lost him and every game since for the price of one weeks rest.

    Good Lord.

You sit on a football forum and claim an expertise greater than trained sports scientists and claim spotting someone with a sore ankle as evidence.

    You call others foolish?

No you didn't. You rambled about his ankle claiming it will tighten up and he will be out for a couple weeks.

Then you said essentially, take him off in case he pulls a hamstring or something. That off the cuff remark wasn't some week long prediction based on anything. It was because you were nervous.

Once again you cannot claim to know more than trained professionals because you said one thing on a forum. It's... frankly weird. <laugh>

You might forget but I dont

I know enough mate and the evidence is in those threads!!! You knew nothing not me.

You should just be saying fair play you were right , but you have no class.
