Whatever the tactics, Joelinton and Almiron are lightweight to carry the attack - we always look far stronger up front whenever Carroll comes on, we need more power. But regardless of that, there's more to Giroud than strength and height, he's skillful and a good finisher too.

And that's just league games you've quoted for Giroud, in league games his mainly a sub, his full record for them is 19 in 70, which really ain't that bad at all, neither is 105 in 253 for Arsenal.

Beating in mind Joselu was deemed ****e for having the same record at stoke as Giroud does for Chelsea.

Also given the supply he's been given them but that great when you consider what he'll get from us.

To me we need central midfielders more than any other position.
 
I think the only thing that swings in our favour is that there's an international tournament at the end of the season and he might want to be pushing his case for inclusion. It could possibly be his last major tournament for them too. Essentially what Remy did years ago, but hopefully he wouldn't sulk and miss the last few games as he didn't want to get injured.
