Regarding Jack Clarke, Spurs recalled him from Leeds as he wasn't getting enough first team football so any condition of a loan deal would be regular first team football. With the players we already have, are we in a position to do that.
Not sure you can guarantee anyone first team football - he may turn out to be a donkey
Looks like we need to secure a couple of contract renewals before end of Jan otherwise they may get snapped up.

He's definitely not a donkey, quality player for Leeds until fell ill on bench last season then weirdly Spurs bought him. Since loaned back clearly big issues as hasn't played. Potentially a quality player but Chair and BOS of a very similar level so wouldn't touch in any sort of EZE deal. To me straight 15m plus 40% of any sell on.
Matt Smith came to us with a high reputation but has failed to make an impact so there are always risks.

Totally agree. He has had a handful of decent games for leeds. Nothing more nothing less. Even the leeds fans weren't arsed to see him go. We dont need him, we have better players than him already.
Probably MW knows a lot we don't. We do have Kakay back, a possible other option to Kane at RB I read somewhere. Masterson looked like he could be a pretty decent CB for us. Maybe he thinks Eze or BOS may leave us this month, though I really hope not.
Being reported that Darren Randolph is set to sign for West ham from Boro for a fee close to £4m to sit as their reserve keeper on the bench.....more money than sense...
You would never choose him as striker over Wells or Hugill any day of the week. I've coached this lad for a couple of years and yes he is good and yes he will get better but he hasn't done anything yet apart from have 4 or 5 good games last season.
