Given how often he played and the rare glimpses of ability I'd suggest that Steven hawking would be an adequate replacement for hobbit extra mcgeoch
The Scottish premiership is probably the same, if not, worse level than league 1. Hearts are bottom of the league, and whelan is unwanted by them. He's 35, I can't see him being much different to leadbitter, both passed it.
I feel we should be looking for up and coming players in the hope that we unearth a gem of the calibre of Phillips or Gabbiadini.
Loovens MK 2 by the sounds of it, not for me as has been said too old, we need young fit hungry lads who want to improve with us not retirees who are looking to put their feet up.
The amount of **** Leadbitter has had should be a warning really. Just because we're in League One, those bigger name lads at the back end of their careers aren't necessarily useful, and often cost a lot more.
There are players in non-league, lads let go by Premier League clubs, who I reckon would be hungrier, fitter, and just as good as some of these older, bigger name players. I'd rather see them here and they'd certainly be cheaper.
