I think the signals over the benching of grigg and him not coming on in these last two games, suggests to me that Parkinson will be glad to see the back of him in January, especially at Fleetwood when we had most of the play, and he brought on Watmore and McNulty when were really chasing the game

It's looking that way mate.Parky certainly gave him ample opportunity to stake a place, when he first took over. Grigg didn't take it.

We've looked better the last two games, and it seems as though the manager has a better idea of his first eleven. Need to strengthen, but we've made it to January, the window is open, and we're not too far adrift.

Never started truth be told.

hard to pinpoint what the problem is, whether it’s his attitude or our playing style (if you can call it that) or a mixture of the two, who knows.

We don't have a proper No 10 to link up with him, but we so have inside forwards and wing backs to feed him...... you never know, eh

I've watched Grigg since he arrived and his body language suggests to me he really doesn't want to be at Sunderland. He doesn't put a shift in, he shows zero passion and I question his general appetite for the game right now. Get rid....asap.
Also, does he live in the area?
