You should get out more mate, sitting indoors imagining these things is not good for your health. The Church collection fund must be getting hefty over Xmas, and all of those sales in the high street shops, you just be careful mate.
Just watched 'foods that cure diseases'. Very interesting indeed if you're a foodie. @luvgonzo @brb @Commachio
If you are genuinly interested in health and diet, research a place called Acciaroli. It has quite a story to tell. It's only a little Hamlet but I believe in 2018 it had over 300 people over the age of 100 years.
The Mediterranean diet was talked about and most agreed it was better than some but not disease curing. Basically anything dairy, all oils and meats, fish are bad for the health of the body.
I don't know how much you read up on it, but just to highlight a few things. Despite having heavy smokers, one in ten lived to be 100 years old, and without the usual expected to see diseases. Also when the World Health Organisation went to research the area, within the last year or two, the pharmaceutical companies were not interested, dare I suggest for obvious reasons. So when it comes to diet, the first thing I would take out is any advice that benefits a pharmaceutical company, Ie any products that may be sold alongside such diet plans. I'm sure if you told those 300 people who have probably survived alone on a diet of fish and oils, they may well just stare at you. Personally for me, people should eat what they want, and I personally prefer the med diet over any other.
Nah. It's an absolute classic. In Rolling Stone top ten horror and science fiction films of all time. And what a score by Ennio Morricone
I watched a couple of classic Billy Wilder films on the beeb over xmas... The Apartment. Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. A guy lends his flat out to his bosses so they could do some shagging with disasterous results. Great film...followed up with one of the best of all time... Some Like It Hot. 2 guys witness a gangland slaughter so go on the run in disguise. A great afternoon treat.
I saw Jojo Rabbit at the cinema yesterday. It was funny but I don't think it would be for everyone. My son enjoyed it!
