Just read the report from the Saints game against Brum on BBC website - they won 4 - 1. Now I have always looked at the stats and thought they must be pretty accurate, although I have had my doubts about some of them. Well at the bottom of the report it states - Attempts on target - Saints 3 : Brum 5 . Now I may be old, or perhaps I don't know enough about football, but surely to score 4 goals you have to have at least four goal attempts. One of these was a penalty - it could possibly be that they don't count as a goal attempt ... if that is so then what are they? :confused:
 
I've had look and like you can only guess they don't count the penalty.
I wonder also how they classify own goals and deflected goals which were otherwise going wide.
 
I think Morcombe had similar stats when they beat Crawley 6-1. Apparently they only had 2 shots on goal if I remember rightly <laugh>

Thank **** for that Wiz, I was getting a little concerned that you`d gone more than 3 days without posting some stats of some kind. Guess you`ve been too busy trying to recruit for your Millens out campaign <ok>
 
I keep telling Wiz to change the record, but if you cant beat them, join them.

Wiz, stats for you. The side you currently support 'Bristol City' were born in 1982. FACT. Since then, you have been rubbish, FACT <ok>

It doesn`t take into account you have only existed since 1982 so is therefore ficticious<ok>

Stat; The **** have failed to score a goal at home this season <laugh> <laugh>
 
C'mon on lads,you've got a history of rubbish,that proves it,even if you stated you are going straight back up, Oh dear,oh me sides,they're splitting....going up..oh dear ...first time....Barcelona....Oh.....Ohh...dear....<laugh><laugh><laugh>
