You do have a fair point, when I think about it. It's all well and good getting vocal when it kicks off due to TV coverage, but when you start scratching the surface, certain people are left as I would call it wanting. Ie lack of things being done in the past and also as you highlight, professionalism on a football pitch.
I'm from Sunderland mate, i never saw no black people, only the local paki with a stronger mackem accent than me. Don't think i ever spoke to a black person until i joined up at 17, and was like woah wtf is this. We turned out good mates.
