Honest assessment mate, not convinced by him yet.

He is too slow and given his nickname wins very few headers either in defence or attack. That said he has been in a defence containing..........
Lindelof (great for one game then shaky as **** for the next three)
Young (again not very fast anymore)
Shaw (who is much like a combination of Lindelof and Young, the odd great game but no real speed)

He has actually looked better with Williams at LB, he has a decent defensive brain and the speed to gt back and cover.
I would like to see him in a unit containing Wan Bissaka, Baily (if his crystal phase ever ends) and Williams. This would give him some much needed cover when the ball goes past him, in a one on one he defends very well, has good distribution and ball carrying quality's so to sum up, not top quality but good enough with the right partners.

We’re not interested in Werner anymore apparently. I’m devastated. @Skylarker promised us all....

    On present showing, no.
That said, he is probably worth £50M+ with today's figures.

TOTTENHAM have begun talks with Flamengo to try and make midfielder Gerson Jose Mourinho’s first signing at the club.
The 22-year-old returned to his native Brazil last summer after failing to impress during aa three-year stint with Roma.

    Laporte was £58m. I’d say he’s a £40m CB tops.

    READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT
Klopp has a point. Mbappe is probably worth over £150m and although the Reds are financially stable, paying that amount of money for one player isn’t desirable.

Mbappe will also command a huge weekly wage and although having him at the club would be incredible, the numbers behind it are too large.

The dream of signing Mbappe can be put on hold for now. Who knows what the future will hold.

Disagree mate, Laporte is worth at least as much as you paid for VvD so good business by City. That said, how much would a CB like Kompany or Rio cost these days.

Rio would be worthless, can't just run away from drug tests these days

    Kompany would be £65m

He’s certainly being missed! I thought that Maguire for England was far better than Maguire for Utd. Whether that because he had better players around him, a better balanced team or the level of competition, I don’t know tbh.

Liverpool have option to extend midfielder’s contract – No need to rush his sale

The Brazilian press continues to bring news about the future of Allan, who will return to being a Liverpool player at the start of the January.

The midfielder’s loan deal with Fluminense is expiring at the end of December, and there are now a couple of clubs who would like to keep him in Brazil.
