It's not mate, it's why the racist sometimes can't explain their actions, it's simply because their parents were racist. The brain only knows what it's taught.
So why football? normal people who never usually say anything become a daft **** at a game. And that's all it is, a game ffs.

When you have a PM calling people letter boxes and absolutely no repercussions, in fact its rewarded with power that says it all. This rise in nationalism worldwide is causing an increase in racism and it is only just gathering pace.

No politics please mate. Thanks.

<laugh> it only took 50 posts.

Maybe, but i reckon most are influenced outside of home.
In addition to imo. I doubt you’d be a raging racist if brought up in a family where it was never a feature. That’s not to say everyone with racist parents ends up a racist though.

I do believe it is more tribal than racial but unnecessary to add the racial add ons
When we play Palace we always sing to Zaha "your gonna dive in a minute" and he always obliges, then we sing "your gonna cry in a minute" and he always obliges

I'm past 50 now, and yet to this day have never heard my dad even swear, and he worked down the mines ffs.

Certainly a case of chalk and cheese.

There is a survey where people are asked if they are racist. The number answering a lot or a little has always been in the range 25% to 38%. It was on a clear downward trend until 2001 and then jumped up. It went down a lot in 2012 and up in 2017.
I can't find any results after 2017.
