This was years ago but we signed Luka Modric in April, he watched us play Bolton (IIRC) but couldn’t play until the following season as we could only register him once the summer window opened.

Pretty sure we signed a Welsh lad called Chris Gunter in December (again, years back) but similar to Pool, couldn’t register him until Jan 1st.

 

I think the rules have changed since then. Not that Liverpool ever gave a **** about rules.

Though I don’t think the rules have changed tbh mate. You’re allowed to sign players any time of the year, you just can’t register them until Summer/ Winter windows.

Pretty sure they signed van Dijk in December too didn’t they? Swear I remember the story breaking around Boxing Day?

Yep.
Mimimino looks quality from what I've seen but he's not coming to be a starter. Good option off the bench though and adds to our depth.

 

He'll be used to rest Bobby and Salah.

 

Keita has been excellent recently. I know he's a PL board favourite but credit to him anyway.

 

Looks like he could play anywhere across the front 3 if needed, also as an attacking midfielder.

Great business.

 

He's a goal a game for the last 3 games plus an assist, on fire.
