It's the fat from from around the kidneys of a cow that is clarified and chopped, added to water then boiled, it's then dried and grated. You then add flour.

    Life is not often simple.

Indeed, and I went to the pub.

What I ate is posted on the previous page, Guinness and steak pie. Had some mozzarella popper things as a starter, was £12 for two courses and was all bloody lovely.

Couple of pints too, one of which they forgot to bill me for.

    Win.

when you're half cut by 6.30pm.

done everything for tonight, chips just need fried one more time, and the ribeye will take a matter off minutes.

even done scran for tomorrow already, made some decent sized meatballs, fried of some onions and mushrooms, added a mustard gravy...even done the mash, just a plain mash, with some herbs.

dishes done, i'm so far ahead of my my game.

dilema, carry on have a few more beers and an earlish night<laugh> or just carry on and get monged?

Dumplings are the best part of any stew.
I’ll fight anyone who tries to convince me otherwise.

For that to be true, the rest of it would have to be rat and acorns.
