If SNP have 50 seats then there will be a push for independence. If that happens then we will need to have another system. I am seriously hoping for proportional representation in the future.

If the Tories **** up now, they're going to get eaten alive. Now they have no excuses, by the end they'll have had 13 years. If it's still ****, they haven't really got much to stand on.

Nah, Labour will still get the blame.

Always have, always will. It'll be 2050, and the Tories will have been in for nearly 40 straight years, and it will be Labour's fault.

Time to go to bed for me. If the exit polls are right then my disappointment can wait until the morning.

Although if the exit polls are right it doesn't really change very much, the struggle between the classes will go on and the hatred of the establishment will grew harder.

Let’s not forget the real **** to blame. David Cameron, who not only needlessly caved in to a sensationalist and populist idea, but totally underestimated how the more crooked of his colleagues would use every trick in the book to manipulate the hard of thinking into endorsing it.

Even without changes I really don't see anything but this lot in for my lifetime !
It would take a massive media swing behind Labour which I don't see .
It won't while we have neo liberalism establishment looking after their own interests. Billionaire owner controlled media will always ensure they are looked after.
I agree with you. where do labour go now? Stay strong to their true values? You could be right, the media /establishment will never allow it. Or choose a Blair esq/Tory leader unashamedly supporting the establishment.

Personally I believe it’s the duty of the electorate to vote out the government of the day. (Unless they’re doing a spiffing job. Highly unlikely.) Unfortunately we still have a buffoon as PM. Not surprised really as IMHO labour missed an open goal by being neutral over a massive issue (Brexit) and not having a credible leader. Next election should be a piece of piss, as Boris will continue to £**k up. Although labour leadership are are going to blame defeat solely on Brexit. If they don’t learn their lessons, ie Corbyn they’ll always struggle .

Hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go.....

Win or lose, no time to snooze.

Let the chattering classes and liberals contemplate their navels, agonise over Trump's non impeachment, xenophobic tropes and pubsec hard times, meanwhile business as usual for the rest of us.

This was an election between **** and ****ter.

Predictably **** won.

Simple as.

Why people want to drag in lots of other issues is a mystery.

Corbyn avoided, Brexit nearer, we can all move on and maybe start to move forward.

So, as the result isn’t going to go the “right” way will there be demands to ignore it and have a people’s vote?
