Excellent performance against a very poor Brum side. You wait all season for a clean sheet and just like the proverbial bus two arrive one after another. Back in the top half now...
I thought they had some good players, and looked dangerous at times, but BOS goal did for them.

This is why we love the R's. 23 games in row where we let the odd goal or 2 in, then 2 clean sheets on the spin. We play teams that on paper it appears we should beat...and get beaten and teams that should beat us and beat them.
Still a team in a transitional state but growing and developing.
Very pleased for Joe Lumley - he is a young keeper - these will give his confidence the world of good

Well that all makes good reading. Nothing wrong with a boring win when it gives you consecutive clean sheets, a wonder goal and moving nicely back into the mix at the upper end of the league.
Well done to Warbs and the lads for getting things back on an even keel. Let’s keep defending well and we have a chance.

Ok, we've been on holiday since Friday, so two clean sheets and 6 points since we've been away. Willing to take donations for us to stay in Lanzarote for the rest of winter to keep the results and clean sheets coming......
Best solution is lose your passport and wait for Spanish police to prepare a report. That should keep you there until New Year's at least. Share your bank account details here and I will ask a few of my Russian friends to help your worthy cause.

I was busy hosting a pub quiz this evening, but what an unexpected joy to see this result. I kept checking in on proceedings when I could and was delighted to see the half-time score and was even more surprised to see that we were two-nil up. What a goal from BOS, one I'll never tire of seeing. A wonderful turn-around from the R's after a period of de-ja vu. I think we'll end up about where we are which I'll take considering that I'd thought we'd be in a relegation battle. Anything top half would do for me.

What a goal though!

I liked the look of there No.34 Ivan Sunjic from Croatia, a good player but at 7,000,000 million euros not for us at the present time.

I'm just watching the full 90 minutes, great to see our centre backs have a solid game.

In Brum with work yesterday so managed to get to the game. Scrappy first half from both sides, but we showed better quality in the second - Birmingham were poor. Hall was excellent, not just for getting his goal but the number of blocks and quality tackles - looked solid with Toni. Always felt a bit nervous with Kane, particularly his passing across the back. Cameron and Amos had good games, sensible distribution once they had won important challenges. I noticed a greater desire to really swarm round the opposition as they creeped closer to our box - bit more hunger, good to see. With one up top it felt like the ball was not sticking much, just wonder if Hugill would have been a better option. And BOS, in addition to ‘that goal’, it was really noticeable the amount of tracking and support he did. But ‘that goal’ was excellent, right in front of us and BOS really showed want it meant to him. And on a bloody cold night it really warmed us all up! Another good away win, roll on Barnsley!
