Just seen the following clip from Good Morning Britain.
It seems that Johnson doesn’t want to be interviewed by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid (she can interview me anytime) as well as Andrew Neill.
He was too busy, it seems, pretending to be a milkman. What is it with him putting himself into the position of working class people? What’s that? Election?

Even before the election has happened the media are gearing up and speculating that the Labour Party will jettison Corbyn if the Tories win with a majority. I would have thought that the opposite would be the case. Labour are continuing to cut into the Tory vote, despite them being portrayed as a collection of terrorist loving rabid communists who want to bankrupt the country.

A lot of people called out for Labour to move towards the centre of politics but they have held firm, stuck to their principles and made a brilliant job of getting their message across to those who will listen. If it wasn't for the endless Tory lies, disinformation and a bought and paid for right wing media, we would be looking at a certain Labour win.

We need a real progressive socialist government. A government that will repair and build a better country. Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Finland, New Zealand, are all embracing a kinder type of coalition politics where society is measured not only by the wealth of the country, but also by the health and welfare of the population and a deep sense of caring for the environment. That has to be something to aim for but it does require partisan politicians to put down their party banners and think differently.

Is it possible that we have seen the start of a different kind of politics in action in preventing the Tories from proroguing parliament? Was there more than just a desperate scramble to reject and block the arrogance that Boris Johnson displayed? I'm sure some of you have a better insight into it than I do. Whatever it was, surely there are enough talented politicians in this country to form and inter-party alliance to bring about real change?

The bitter and twisted ex-politicians have taken out adverts in their local papers, so perhaps not much of an issue. I think sensible people see things like this for what they are.....sour grapes for being binned off.

Most newspapers have very small readerships and soon end up lining cat litter trays or budgie cages.

They are evidently very good turd traps.

I'm sorry, but I don't think this is even remotely true. These things didn't suddenly come into being last Thursday. Labour has actually won elections before, and they will do so again in the future. That they are failing really miserably in this election has to do with something independent from those factors.

It would take a historic polling error for Labour to take a plurality of seats against Boris ****ing Johnson. Yes, I would consider that to be a deeply unsuccessful campaign.

    Fair enough .

I happen to think tomorrows tabloid headlines will be a major factor in the outcome .

FWIW , I THINK the Tories will have a majority , but I am not so certain now , and I did not think I would say this 2 days ago .

Thoroughly well deserved. The girl has given hope and inspired millions of people: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-50740324

What's more, extreme right-wing conservatives loathe her, because it signals an end to their irresponsible attitude to the environment. The silly thing is, they could make millions out of clean technology if they wanted. But they're too dense to see it.

The company I work for infuriate me. They are pretty good at recycling most things, but they recently decided that instead of continuing to use large, re-usable metal cages to put waste plastics/poly wrap in, they decided to change the system, so we now put waste plastic in one-use plastic bags, creating more waste plastic, especially as one bag takes less than 25% of the load a cage takes.
The reason for the change is to make recycling quicker as they can now just throw the entire bag into the baler, instead of someone having to manually empty cages, which really doesn’t take much time.
Maybe I don’t get it and it won’t make that much difference.
