I was going to post this before the game tonight, but I had to pop out for a football finance meeting, turns out we are as skint as most premier league teams.

Anyway, they were talking about Owen on Talksport earlier, while there is no way I would advocate signing him on any sort of permanent deal he might be perfect for a loan from Jan to the end of the season.

I think we will go for P D Cisse in the summer as we would not be able to play him until the end of the ACN. Owen would be a perfect stop gap on loan and would certainly be able to give some much needed knowledge and experience to Ji and Wickham.

We need a goal scorer next to Bendtner who does not need time to adjust to the EPL. Owen is not going to get many games for Man U once Welbeck is fit so this could suit everyone.

Again it's all about the fitness. Pay-as-you-play perhaps but would rather wait til January and see whether we need another striker. If the young lads come good, Sess and Bendtner start getting goals then we may be okay.

Remember Campbell aswell for next season. Will take him a long time for him to get back up to speed if he ever does get back to his best but started to look like a very good player before his injuries.

He wouldn't come. He's banged on about being a big fish in a small pond and how he doesn't like it.

Top player, he was fantastic at the skunks and did a top job.

But i feel this kind of form is behind him now and will never re-capture that kind of performances and money making again...

But if he could maybe SAFC is not the place for him.
