At least one of the waves was British though and they won Eurovision for the UK, so **** up and get to your bed, sonny.
They are the rules Aldo but unfortunately people from poor countries check into A and E and have very expensive operations that we pay for then simply **** off home without paying the tab.
We are a bit too trusting , not that I can blame them but it's only really intended for people from this Nation and we are supposed to pay in just in case or prop up unfortunates from our own country.
You simply can't get treatment in most countries without some assurances that you will pay as operations are quite a costly business.
I know you did, but Baz was on about the Waves too, which you nastily left out. Who cares if Katrina is a yank? She would be nothing without at least one British Wave.
It is the other EU country that gets billed, not the person. But, whether those countries pay those bills is another story. I must say, the free healthcare in Spain is better than the private healthcare. True story.

Nope. I am registered here, so get it for free. Also, the EHIC only works if you have your own travel insurance too. A lot of people don't realise that.
You could (or I could) argue that The Waves were f.uck all until the American Katrina joined the band. The fact that they didn't all call themselves The Waves even when she joined demonstrates her position in the band hierarchy.
That pesky Baz has got a lot to answer for, he could just as easily have said The Bay City Rollers to make it clearer. Did I ever tell you that seeing Eric on TOTP used to freak me the f.uck out? True story.

I dare say there are folk who take advantage of the system Si. There always is but by and large it's a good system.
The major problem we have in this country is an inept government who are either too stupid or too lazy to actually claim the other EU countries. We pay far more out for their healthcare than they do us. We losing millions of pounds a year just through the failure to invoice cùnts
The NHS should only be free to permanent residents and people who have paid into it from overseas.
I don't begrudge paying in for those less fortunate but when people come form outside of the EUROPEAN UNION on holiday and end up having expensive operations then those resources are going to he stretched.
Let them all in they cry, our services are crumbling they say.
