Corbyn was / is anti EU.....this has been known for years.

He thinks they will prevent Britain being radically transformed in the way he would like. Too centrist. for his tastes.

So why did he and his party not support the government in getting us out. Like most of the labour seats voted for.

Cos most Labour Party members are remainers.

But many poorer Leave areas have Labour mps.

Very difficult to square the circle, hence his delicate non commital stance, he prefers to leave the choice to others so as to avoid enraging at least 50% of his voters/members.

Based on what thought? I don't mean to be deliberately argumentative so apologies, I find I can't help myself on this subject.... But when virtually every leading economist is saying it'll leave us worse off, when all major bodies of the NHS and school system are saying it'll leave us worse off I struggle to understand a single tangible benefit of brexit, faith that we'll be OK doesn't hold water as a benefit for me
Basically I guess it’s just what I feel. I don’t believe much of what these politicians and economists say anyway. I don’t think they care much about us. If they really thought our votes would change things then they would take voting away. Not much will change for us, I think.

Oh you want me to hurl some abuse ?
Not gonna do that life's to short I'm afraid !

I am drinking red wine and eating chicken crisps. I was happy but just seen the score so a little pissed off. I will drink more red wine to dull the pain. I would recommend it to anyone.

You never worked in the construction industry so you don't know how it operated !
My explanation was what happened back in 2002 !
I haven't worked in it for over 10 years so it may have changed now !
Up to you what you believe !

Whilst we’re talking politics.

Will I need 6 months on my passport to travel to Las Islas Canarias in January if we leave WITH a deal before the end of January?

Mine expires July 1st.

Question (mainly for the Conservative voters).

Ignoring the emotive content about ‘the boy without a hospital bed’ for one minute, where do you think the ensuing fake news story emerged from?

A Conservative source? Paid or unpaid to try and distract from a damaging story that was breaking.

Russia? Especially given the Conservatives close links to powerful Russians (and their funding) the suppression of the ‘Russian Interference Report’.

Elsewhere?

Does this concern you in any way, especially given the findings that 88% of Conservative Ads contain false information?

Does the proven fact that they have lied so consistently throughout this campaign concern you about their governance?

Or do you think as long as 'Brexit is done' etc. or at least it’s not Corbyn, they can do what they want?

Or maybe you dispute these findings and have your own ideas/hunch/research?

Interested to read your opinions.

There were at least 3 fake Twitter/Facebook stories trying to discount the initial story and trying to impersonate people in the know. This ultimately failed of course and to me, the incorrect use of ‘Leeds Hospital’ smacked of a lack of local knowledge, perhaps foreign involvement. But could be wrong.

FYI Here’s a BBC account of it – chose this one because, for a bit of balance, they tend to tread very carefully towards the Conservatives, compared to some other sources I could have used.
